Kaia Gerber, 10 year old daughter of former topmodel Cindy Crawford poses for Versace Young. Kaia isn’t the first child of a celebrity who made a deal with designers. She will be the new face of the Young- Versace line. Mother Crawford used to be one the muses of designer Gianni.

‘Just like her mother, Kaia has a special gift’ according to Donatella Versace. ‘The camera just loves her. It was very special to see Kaia in the footsteps of her mother’.
Donatella isn’t the only one who got sentimental, Cindy Crawford was very happy for her daughter. ‘I am so happy Kaia has been chosen to take part in the Young- Versace campaign. I have so many beautiful memories about my time with Gianni and Donatella. There’s something very special with this fashion warehouse’.

The campaign will be photographed by Mert Alas en Marcus Pignot. The collection itself premiered at Pitti Immagine Bimbo in Florence. The collection has a targetgroup of children between ages 0 – 12 years.

Sometimes you just have to go where the most opportunities present themselves if you want to make it in big-time show business — and if you want to star in the movies, Los Angeles is the best place to move to by far.

Taylor Lautner moved here from Grand Rapids, Michigan when he was 10 years old so that he could audition for TV commercials. Well, his plan obviously worked.

Born in Nashville, Miley Cyrus now lives in either North Hollywood or Tuluca Lake, depending on which version of Google you choose to believe.

Robert Pattinson just moved to L.A. recently — but that was after he had already become a star in London so I’m not sure he counts.

Born in New York City, Scarlett Johansson has recently moved to Malibu. Does Malibu count as part of Los Angeles? Sure.

As for Shia LaBeouf, he doesn’t count at all because he was freaking born in L.A. — Echo Park to be exact. But his dad was a Cajun. And Shia still lives in Glendale, keeping true to his roots.

Keira Knightley, however, stayed in London and never moved to Los Angeles. Perhaps, however, it might have been better if she did because her London home was recently burglarized as part of a wave of robberies have swept through celebrity homes there.

Zac Ephron moved to Los Angeles from San Luis Obisbo of all places. If you can start out as an actor in that out-of-the-way town, then you can break into show business anywhere — so of course there’s hope for out-lander star-seekers everywhere.

It is fall time and that means that the latest fall fashions are about to hit the stores. There are many new style ideas in store for this season. One of the biggest trends for the fall is the ankle boot. They can be worm with jeans, tights, dresses, and even dress pants for the office. A scarf is also in style for the fall. A scarf is not just for the snow anymore. It is best to wear have a scarf in a solid tone. Neutral colors like black, navy, and cream will look the best. To make it look even better the scarf should be made of satin, shine, or wool. To wear the scarf as part of an outfit twist it a couple of times in the middle and toss the ends of the shoulder. Bring each end to the front on opposite sides and let the ends hang freely.
Gray is the color of choice for the fall season. To wear grey pick fabrics made of metallic threads or satin. For an office look layer light and dark grey pieces together. Grey clothing looks good with ruby or purple cobalt jewelry. Grey will also work as accessories such as handbags or shoes.
Stripes are also popular for fall clothing but they are not easy to pull off. It is best to pick neutral tones when wearing strips and avoid anything too colorful or flashy. A Computer for Infants

Friday 29th July – witness the start of taking preorders by Amazon for a tablet computer design for infants including those less than a month in age. The Vinci, as this tablet computer is called, is the second of new tablets for children less than 10 to hit the market this month. The first was LeapFrog’s 5-inch LeapPad that goes for $99 each and specifically designed for 4-to-9-year-old children.

The manufacturer being aware of the fact that the Vinci could be subjected to serious baby banging suspended its 7-inch touch pad in a case meant to give it some protective cover. The case is tiny enough for babies to take hold of.

Both the Vinci and the LeapPad are without Wi-Fi functionality perhaps to allay any fear of kids downloading the wrong things. This does not mean the Vinci is a mere toy. The manufacturing website stated, “The Vinci is not an imitation — it is a real touch-screen Android-based product, bringing the most advanced technology to the benefit of our youngest citizens.” Little wonder it goes for as much as $389.

However, one is yet to ascertain what most parents think about these baby computers. Does it translate into too much screen time for kids or is it a welcome development? Only time will tell.

Apple Next Iphone Out September or October

It is rumored in many quarters that Apple’s next iPhone will be in stores come September. Some call it iPhone5 while others insist it will be known as iPhone 4S.

AllThingsD.com, the News Corp. website, pegs late October as when the next iPhone will be released. This is no surprise as there will always be different sides to a speculation until it is made real. At least, Apple is yet to make public what its next iPhone will be like, what it will be called, what features it will possess and when it will be released.

A good number of blogs have also heightened the speculation by publishing photos of rubber and plastic cases as the shape of the next iPhone. This tapered shape is widely believe to be the iPhone’s look although there some people who believe the next iPhone design will be similar to that of the current model.

Well, for those keen on entertainment news a la LA California then the first place to start would be the Kardashians. Whether we are keeping up with Khloe and Lamar in LA or with Kourtney and Kim’s move to New York there is nothing as fascinating as the Kardashians on the LA entertainment scene.

However, for those who might find this sort of entertainment unnerving there is the ever humorous Fashion Police. The latest news shows Lady Gaga, known for her creativity, wearing the same outfit three times in the same month. For a celebrity this is a definite no no, but it allows mere mortals to remember that it is quite appropriate to wear the same outfit twice.

As always, we give a big thumbs up to The Fashion Police once again for showing us how stars and stars in the making make hits in the fashion arena as recently displayed by Angelina Jolie’s red-orange ensemble for the Tree of Life premier.
